My teeth are all straight except for one tooth which comes forward a little and is slightly to the side, what are my options to fix this without braces?
Bond the tooth with a composite resin, place a porcelain veneer, or use the Invisalign tray technique.

my girlfriend needs a root canal or a tooth extraction.
she doesnt have insurance and her mother flat out refuses to take her to the dentist.
she said this tooth has been bothering her for the greater part of a year and I've told her that it's only going to get worse even offering to help pay for a root canal, or if thats not possible an extraction.
do most dental offices have ways to pay a little at a time. I'm not rich. I'm 18 and working minimum wage full time, living on my own 10 hours away from home. I just want her to not be in pain anymore and I'm sick of her mom not doing anything about it.
I believe most offices will work out a payment plan with you. I do. I hope this isn't magical thinking on my part. At the least a dentist can prescribe an antibiotic over the phone and a mild pain reliever like Tylenol with codeine. If it is a first molar or a tooth forward of a first molar your girl friend should opt for root canal treatment. It will be fairly expensive ($700-1200 depending on whether it is an incisor, premolar, or molar) but less than a 3 unit bridge or implant later on.

I need just about all of my front teeth (top and bottom) straightened. My two top canines are up at the top of my gums sticking out... really gross. I have a lot of crowding in my mouth. I don't want braces because I am in my mid twenties and want a fairly quick procedure to just get the job done. What should I do and how much money will it cost?
You can have the canines removed and place porcelain veneers on the front 4 teeth or have the front 4 teeth crowned. The cost would be about $3500-5000. I am obviously saying this without seeing you, so I want to qualify this by saying that you could have other options. There's a tooth movement technique called Invisalign but it is not meant for extreme movement. If your teeth are really crowded this would not be for you.

I have had this pesky very slightly loose tooth since Feb. 2008 because I have bruxism and I tend to chew on things. It is the left front bottom tooth. I went to the dentist right away who thought if I left it alone and wore a guard at night it would heal up The x-rays revealed no bone loss. I noticed it again in Feb of this year (I had gotten into my bad habits again) stopped wearing the guard etc. My hygene habits are good, especially now. I went again and the dentist found no bone loss once again, told me to floss and wear the guard...all of which I am doing this time, but three months later the tooth feels just slightly looser, could I have some wierd slow form of gum disease and need an extraction or crown or bridge or soemthing?? I have an appointment with her in a few days and my insurance wont cover any of things because I am in a waiting period....so an advice for me?
Has your dentist either taken the lower tooth down a little or the back of the upper tooth? You need reduce the amount of contact it has with the top tooth.

I have a first molar that needs a root canel or it needs to be pulled. I was told that if I have it pulled I would have problems later in life because my teeth will shift and move and I would have more problems. Is this true?
Yes. Your top teeth will drift down and your lower second molar will drift forward. I like to save all first molars and all canines.

I have less than half of bone and not able to get braces to straighten teeth. What are my options. I also have teeth missing.
Have any necessary periodontal work done and follow with bridgework. This will splint everything together. On your part you are going to have to floss twice a day.
