This Week's Question
Hi, my name is Mark Marcelo and im 13 years old. I have been experiencing pain with one of my canine teeth and one of my incisors. The Incisor thats hurting is the one in front the left one. and the canine tooth is the one beside it on the left side. I have been to the dentist yesterday (May 11 2009) and he did something called the "root canal". He said that theres some sort of puss stuck somewhere, i think the puss is stuck where the tooth starts growing..you know..that place...in the gums...anyway he did that root canal think and removed some of the puss, but seriously it hurt. So after that he said that hes just going to leave it open in case some of the puss will come out. He told me to come back 3 days later (May 14 2009) in between those days i should gargle warm water with salt. Im cool with that but the thing that troubles me is that he didnt even take a look at the Incisor tooth that was hurting too, and im really scared because i REALLY do not want my front tooth to fall out beacause i will really look stupid having no front teeth. Now my question is: DO YOU THINK ITS GOING TO END BADLY AND ILL HAVE TO LOSE THOSE 2 TEETH or THE DENTIST WILL BE ABLE TO SAVE THE 2 TEETH AND I WONT HAVE TO LOOK SO STUPID? thank you very much for your time in reading this.
